Rear rim

Hello guys, i’m new to this forum but not to bikes. I’m looking for a rear rim for my 1984 XR650R. It’s a 2.50-17, 36 hole aluminum rim, as you know. I just need the rim, not the whole wheel. Does anyone here have such a thing? It’s turning out to be quite a hard part to find. I will take a complete wheel if that is all I can find, but I really only need the rim. Please send pics and price if you have one and want to sell this part.

Hi Fred sadly your not on the right forum, the XR650R was only made from 2000 onwards ?

My bad, it should read XL600R, but i’m desperately looking for a 2.50-17, 36 hole rim for a XL600R. Stupid fat fingers

I might have an option for you. I had an '86 Xr600r. I was able to put an 18" wheel assembly from a Cr250 or 450 on the Xr. I don't remember what year the Cr was. I have the rim and hub that I used in my shed. It says it is a 1.85x18" rim. The spokes are all rusted, but it is an option. Tony
