Yes, I've personally met David Wachs.
I have not met the other half of GiantLoop yet, Harold Cecil.
BTW - Their bag is great. Looking forward to loading that thing up and getting out there this year...

yeah
Haven't met Wachs yet. Seems like a really interesting guy with a remarkable life. Not to mention the stellar RRs he puts up. I have the bag. Pretty high quality piece of gear. Haven't installed it yet.
Perhaps we'll all get a huge ride up there sometime. The pictures are spectacular of eastern Oregon. It's a big haul for me but I'm determined to get up there soon! That's a special place there. I hope it never gets popular ...

Re: "FNG" - Central Oregon
2 different bikes Stroup.
The "L" has a 1" shorter wheelbase, but it's a little taller and definitely heaver than the "R". Better road manners.
The "R" has better suspenders and way better power output both down low and on the top end. Better at going 80 through the desert.
Pat had it set up pretty damn good!
A few cosmetic changes(plastics), new grip heaters, handguards and some wiring to clean up and it'll be rocking.
