Subframe Bracket / Support

Subframe Bracket / Support
Now with the tapped out holes, and larger bolts I figured I still add a support so that I know can basically can stand on the rear XRSOnly aluminum rack.
It took heating and whacking it with a small sledge but I was able to bend out two supports. Also the supports allow the xrsonly aluminum rack to align better with the seat bolt holes. The reason that it aligns better is because the rack is made to fit the European XR650R's which have the added subframe brace that allows the aluminum rack to sit slightly further back.
Also reason why UFO rear fender has all these extra holes, it also is made for the European XR's.
All it took was:
Torch
Flat Steel from Home Depot $6.50
Hammer and Small Sledge Hammer
Stainless Steel Hose Clamps - used to attach to the frame
Drill and Drill bit to make a hole
Also a Vice to hole the metal

Re: Subframe Bracket / Support
Some Pictures:
I can push on it with my 200lbs and it doe snot flex like it did before. I plan to now also go through my huge pack and see what tools I really need and what I could live without. I might make up two packs...one for my typical day outing and an add on of what would be nice on an Adventure ride. Right now I carry about 30 extra pound, not to mention I also carry water, and other misc stuff too.
