Listen up listen up how do you like my new fender and even better licence bracket ?.
Very strong and doesn't require any drilling of the fender / mudguard.

Looks nice Mauser nice

better you dont drill new holes in youre new fender, you gonna add a plate light?

i have a polisport plastic license plate holder with selfmade blinkers(+ led brake & back light) and works great also, dont weight nothing. Very Happy

the piggy is inside my house again for this winter so i can work a little bit on it instead of outside in the cold crazy pirat cheers

gonna add new white side panels + the red clarke 4,3gal tank with new graphics and new radiator shrouds so i can keep my original tank and shrouds naughty and the other white (ims) 3,2gal tank i want to make it pure white again but how? i think graphics also and i need to place the oil sight tube that i have here for more then a year. waiting

oh yes....did you use loctite on those bolts??? you dont wanna loose youre plate rider

Hi Rikco, we don't actually need a number plate light over here in the UK for the MOT test but if the local coppers pull me after dark they might say it doesn't conform to the lighting law razz and have a moan, but I don't see many coppers when riding down the lanes....none Very Happy
I could easily add a couple of bright LED's onto the end of the bracket...that's why I left it slightly longer.
I share your concern about the bolts coming loose, they are not exacty bolts as they also need access through to the rear light screws....pain in the arse they are Frustrated still pondering on how best to ensure everything stays tight Smile, might add a small locking grub screw... listen up
Like you bike great choice of colours (colors) the rim tapes actually look good nice

Ya, was wondering about the same too Sean, not even a mozzi-fart on it!
Mind though, his fender's spanking new, Maus' replaced his 'used' one because he couldn't live with 2 holes drilled in it by the PO...... which makes him as full of sh1t as me so that must make him a good bloke razz

Mauser,

go2 www.merlinmotorsport.sumting and find 2 sizes of rubber silent blocks, threaded studs on either end.
Put 4 of the smallest ones (I think they advertise them for mounting of fuelpumps?) inbetween the bracket & plate-holder, and end up with a more forgiving setup which will not be prone to scratching and/or bending as per your current setup - which looks nice indeed.

Ahhh I get your idea, I went out on her yesterday for a couple of hours and all seems very secure no wobbles or shaking banana

For those who want to drill their fender don't rush it and do what the PO did to mine..... angry

Sean as mentioned the fender only arrived from the US in the last few days, the rest of the bike isn't as clean but I like her looking good and mechanically sound; you won't find a rusted bolt or seized pin anywhere on my baby....try Burp's bike....infact I am not sure if he actually has 1 asking for it
Me thinks he rides 1 of these....

Well, OK, I'll owe up, I indeed ride one of those!
What's wrong with that anyway?
Better than a Pig if you ask me.
I like it actually, enjoy myself tremendously.
Mind, prefer a bit more of a tan though.

razz

Nothing wrong with a Solex either, it's one of the 50's I never got to own (had maaaaaany others!).
