In order to get around the lousy search functions on this and the adv site I just use google and include "adv" or "xr650r forum.com" in the search and it usually works.

Thanx for the tip...I have another way you could try within this site.

• Click on the "Search" text under the logo NOT the search box to the right of the page.

• A box titled "Search Query" will pop up.

• Click on the text "Advanced Search" at the bottom of the box.

• On the next page type your query in the very top box and click on the tab labeled "Search Google".

BAM!

The new page should have a butt load of hits. If you look closely at the address link listed at the bottom of the brief topic description you'll find most of all the hits are from XR650RForum.com.

Sorry it has to be more complicated than just using the little search box but this works very well.
