Lights keep blowing

I just bought a 2003 xrr it has a Baja designs dual sport kit and the headlight keeps burning out on me after just a few hours of riding as well as the blinkers and brake lights also when they do work they are not very bright at all I don't know hardly anything about electrical but was thinking maybe switching everything to led not sure if this would help or not
