Baja Designs key switch ?

I have a 2004 XR650R and I want to put the BD keyswitch on it just to give it a little more security when riding in town, can I just splice it into my kill button. the off position is closed so it should just ground out and not allow it to start. I won't have a kill button anymore just the keyswitch any way of doing it so both work?

Yes, can work, but it's zilch security. Better would be a hidden switch, however that also is not 'real' security - a big chainlock is.
