Is this an error in the manual?

My motor and my mates motor are missing this mysterious thrust washer

The parts catalog and the exploded diagram in the bible do not show it

There is a washer that fits but that would be stealing the washer of the kickstart spindle

im fairly sure the bush has the 'thrust' washer incorporated , i.e. its part of the bush, not two seporate parts

Yes, it does have a built in washer
