ive used simular on my gsxr1100, the std auto tensioner on brp is a very reliable type however, so cant see any particular benefit

Must agree with the guys, not sure why you need a manual fixed tensioner...handled wrong they can bugger things up

The oem automatic tensioner on the xrr seems pretty reliable so no need to change it , the manual ones are good if used correctly and checked regulary .
