WAY MORE POWER, WTH.

I been riding my BRP for a few months now and the CDI BOX was going bad, but the bike would run one day and die the next, but never popped or sputtered, it ran like it was a stock bike, till one day it crapped out completely.
ANYWAYS, I bought and installed a new, used FACTORY CDI BOX and now this little piggy has WAY WAY MORE POWER.
WTH. Ive never encountered this before, is it normal for a CDI box that is going bad, but still runs, to ROB the bike from that much POWER????

For months I been riding this pig with a bad CDI thinking that the bike isnt what its cracked up to be, "POWER WISE". NOW its a complete MONSTER with the new CDI installed. WTH???????

Ive ridden bikes that are the same make and model, same MODS, and one bike would be way faster than the other, this would probably explain the problem. Could it be that those slower bikes may just have BAD CDI BOXES???
