Adieu to XR650R Forum
Yesterday my BRP sold.
It's been an awesome ride.
I've got plenty of riding years still ahead, but it's with mixed feeling that I won't be on the one of the best bikes ever built.
I've decided to change directions with something that is FI and more offroad worthy, but still plate-able. However, I will still not drink the orange kool-aid.
It's been fun posting up pig vids. I will continue to do so with a new non-pig ride, but since I ain't got a pig, it'll probably be mostly posted on ADVrider.
Thanks to all on this forum. I learned alot.

Yep, I think so. I am going to go with a smaller bike. The pig was one good machine....never had to do anything to engine other than adjust valves...I may regret going to a FI titanium valved machine.

If it is a CRF you have got I know that you can fit stainless valves that eliminates the problems that their has been with the titanium valves.
I've no first hand experience but understand that any bit of dirt/dust would cause the titanium valves to fail whereas fitting stainless valves cures this.
Good Luck
