Speedo Length Empty Speedo Length

Hi guys,
Can someone please measure the length of their speedo cable....mine seems tight when the bike is on it's stand (Front Wheel Off ground) ?. My bike had the original tacho speedo the basic US type with only 3 digits. Have fitted standard European speedo but just seems slightly to short.

i have mine off the bike, don't use ...in a box. Do you want the measurement end to end or what?
